some players need vpn to play on the brokenlens network yet the network doesnt let people play games while vpn is on. major issue
 
This would be because like Liammm said, hackers use VPN to come back to the server if they're banned from it so it's a pre caution to stop hackers. plus, why would you need it?

Just like @ItsLiammm said, but there is no need for a way to open the app of VPN to return the BrokenLens server. This server is for normal VPN security, it would be nice if the players played as usual with their own VPN, but not with another VPN address. However, although there are too many hackers who play with them unfairly, so basically they will break the rules. To be able to in the region where the hackers should use VPN clients.
