Very hard question appeared in a Exam Practice Paper (Chinese)

Here's my conclusion:
Teacher Lee asked why the boy haven't attended...
When he heard about the accident, he hoped for the boy to make a fast and safe recovery....
When the boy gets well, he'll give him catch-up lessons when he returns.
So the answer is none of them. He's hoping for the boy to make a great recovery. :)
Well that's my theory. :D

The story is the teacher called the mom to ask why the son didn't come to school, the mom answered that the son was hurt during an accident and da doc says he had to stay at home for awhile, the teach says that he hopes that the son will recover quickly cause of the upcoming exams and said he would give the son make-up classes when he returns.

A boy from my class says that option 3 is correct and my teacher tried to convince him but failed, so whoever convinces that boy gets to eat with her and obviously the boy too, I didn't bother to try cause... I would rage quit while trying to think about how to convince him, my friend tried and HE convinced my friend instead o-o

Both answers are correct, but if you were to choose option 3, you should get less marks (depending on how many marks you get, maybe minus 0.5 of the mark?). Why? Because the teacher did not originally know that the boy was hurt, so the main reason for the teacher to call was option 1, to ask the boy's mother why the boy did not come to school.

Best advice i could say is there is only one answer that can solve the question that is confusing you take your time have opportunity make choice why is it reasonable answer believed yourself to help you on this test or exam tho you know make
you think before you ask it ok take your time used it wisely ok just you effort we believed you :thumbsup:

Hmm,I'll try my best to explain my opinion.Why would the teacher need to tell the mother about the make-up classes?If I was absent then my teacher would probably call my mother and ask why I was absent,because I don't think the teacher would giveaway what they were studying on that day.This is what I assume if my mother wasn't my school doctor...Because she is the school doctor,so they would just personally ask her. xD

No,I said in my opinion It's number 1.What I said was I'm ASSUMING that's the answer since my mother is staff so they would personally ask her why,not on the phone,so I'm guessing....
