What's your version of mcpe?
Check your internet if it's slow

Paid or non-paid version of mcpe can still get you in the server but it's piracy

Try restarting your device.
Maybe try restarting your wifi.
This could be a problem with your WiFi because this happened to me before, but then I removed all the texture packs, uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled Minecraft. It worked for me, but I don't really know about you. Maybe try these tips and hopefully your problem will be solved.
