Unworking staff application

So.. first of all.. Hi!
Next.. i wanted to apply for helper rank but it wasnt working... i mean when i put my username then pw it says i need to put registered acc and down it says invalid pw
I thought for a moment someone changed pw of my acc in forums... so i changed my pw and it worked... and i went again to staff application page and wrote my username and the new pw but it still say same error
So.. i hope to figure wat happened as fast as possible
