After 1.2 update, armour gives normal protection. Therefore, with a diamond sword, u can only deal 0.5 heart to players who is wearing full iron or above (i tested it). So, when brlns still has the food regen, it makes the steak, mushroom soup pretty OP as they can almost replace golden apples since u can heal up 4 hearts and players can barely do any damage to u.
Before this update, armour gives little or no protection, so many players are naked and the food healing thing is balanced, but now it becomes really OP, so plz fix it, either remove armour protection again or change to natural regen (hunger bar thing)
