unable to connect

so i use pocket edition on IOS, and my phone automatically updates. so, my minecraft updated to 1.13 and now the server is saying "unable to connect". i don't think the server has updated yet, and i have no clue on how to go back to a later version. when will the server update because i have many friends on there and it's my fav server, i'm without anything to do atm :/

You're right. The server hasn't been updated yet. I am not an iOS person, however these tutorials may help:

If that doesn't help, you can always wait for the server to be updated! vertx does a great job updating the server pretty quickly
