This happens to a lot of users. BrokenLens runs on many networks, and each network has a specific amount of players that can join. Once a network is full it will literally seem impossible to join the server. This is also why sometimes when you join you spawn in a random game lobby. And when you try to click the hub spawner it will say "this server if full please wait while we create a new server/network"....so I don't think it's a bug. I think it's really just a ton of users are online and the server has to keep kicking players and creating new networks in order for people to join.
This happens a lot due to many users still being in game but they are inactive. So the server could still be reading them as players. Another reason I believe this is because if you hang out in a lobby/hub for a long period of time your server will time out and either force you out of the game or respawn you in a new network.
Hope this helps and staff correct me if I'm wrong. I only say this from tons of experience with this particular problem.

Umm, if your on a device, try logging out and reset the device. Then join back and see if it works...
