The storm is coming. Follow these tips to be safe so you can play Brokenlens after it is over.

If your house is secure (concrete)
1. Board up windows by making crosses in an X-shape, or make as many large triangles as possible
2. Clean drainages (and if possible make more)
3. Be strict with cracks, lock all windows. Screw the backyard pool (if theres one).
4. If you are not living in a huge a♥♥ city like me, you can also think about keeping a 72-hour kit just in case.
5. You can now go back to your life. Don't go outdoors though. And stay tuned to the radio because there is nothing such as a "100% wind proof house".
With no time to prepare, and your house is weak potatoe
1. Board up house, clean up yard and clear drainages to minimalize damage done.
2. Pack two or more 72-hour kits for each member of your family. It should contain: Radio, phone, lots of food and water (4kg and 8 gallons), torch, med kits, whistles, money, and perhaps a set of clean clothes.
3. Bring your documents.
4. Refill your cars fully, follow the signs of evac route and drive at top safe speed. Don't stop until you are far inland. (In the case of water villages such as Tai O, follow evac instructions and gtfo out of the area asap)
5. Wait it out as the whole thing blows over.
6. Clean-up: do not touch any wires. Drain all floodwater. Repair pipes and do anything safe to make your home a home again.
