Well, there have been a lot of contests and people seem to enjoy them, so I'll have one too. I mean, I'll have two. I'll have two contests.
You can enter both of them, but only once for each. Post your entries to this thread. I think the deadline, for both of them, will be Saturday the 5th. However, there must be at least four entries for each before I end them, so they may go on longer if that doesn't happen before the deadline.
I'll announce the top three for each contest in a thread when the contest ends, and the winners' entries will be in my signature for a week.
CONTEST #1 - DRAWING CONTEST
Choose one or more characters from any book series, and choose a song that could describe something about him/her/them - a relationship, a situation they've been in, anything like that. Include a part of the song in the picture. Try to make it meaningful and really close to something that describes that.
It can be handdrawn, digital, or some sort of combination, and the art can be any style. Do it however you feel most comfortable. I'll be judging by the lyrics and how they relate to the characters, and by the actual art and layout of the picture. All are important. The art has to be your own, although backgrounds can be from the internet.
CONTEST #2 - WRITING CONTEST
Choose any one skin from the 'Campfire Tales' skin pack, and write a oneshot story based on it. If you want, it can relate to the rhyme made up for the skin by Mojang, but it doesn't matter if it does or doesn't. In fact, if you want, you could start off by writing your own little rhyme. Note that there stil has to be a story along with it.
The story must be contained in one comment, and can't go over the character limit. Try to make your story original and interesting. If there are a lot of terrible grammar or spelling errors, that will affect your chances, so be careful about that, although I'll overlook the occasional typo.
