So here I am going to explain how I PvP ! (Sry nick , but thanks for giving me the idea of doing tips :D)

So here :

PvP on servers :
Knowing that on servers there is more lag than on XboxLive worlds , well I've adapted myself .
Since 0.15.0 , the sprint strafe or combo is not working anymore on normal wolds but on on servers it still works , so I use this as an advantage . At the level of a lots of you guys , you won't fight against super strong pvpers , so you need to strafe them (of cours , non-split) by just running in or strafing the enemie and just hitting and turning yourself very fast .
When you play on a server where a lots of the guys are good pvpers , (not oblivious) never use split control unless you just want to get totally rekt . So yea , that's for server PvP . Also remember that on the majority of the servers the bow needs to be aimed much higher than usually .

PvP on Worlds :
So on worlds , it's less lag , all item work properly . So as always , you need to strafe . And if you are against a guy who strafes very good , try to play very straight (frontal) and never let your enemie go on your side or he will combo you very fast . Also for lava bucket placing , lava , bow or F&N , well , the lava bucket needs to be placed when your enemie is fighting straight at you , so that your enemie gets surprised and doesn't have time to skipe the lava . For water bucket , well you use it to stop fire or run away , I usually use the water when I get comboed , so that when the combo finishes I put a water bucket to slow down my enemie . I do same with F&N (Flint&Steel) when someone combos me but I also use it to confuse my enemie when he is on fire . After all this , there is the bow pattern (yes , pattern) so what you want to do is understand the enemie's pattern (his moves when he is also playing bow , like 1 move left , 1 move right) once you understanded how he plays , it's very easy to get bow hits on him . A little move I love to use when I get comboed is click on the "backward" button (it's the south button of your D-pad lol) and so that your enemie can't combo you and might as well Gapple whil ur there .

I hope this helped you !

I don't use Split Control because you have to focus the centre of the screen on the player to hit them. Without the Splits, you can keep running around them and hit them just by tapping the corner or on the edge of your screen. lol

Yeah your right using SPLITS CONTROL is harder then having NONE. when you have no SPITS CONTROL you can find it so much easier with building and in pvp. XD Lolz ^_^
