SPLATTER 2020 - 2021 TUTORIALS
〓 Minecraft Bedrock Edition 〓

Hi! A lot of people ask me how I play or how to- so I wanted to make a thread to help! Before I start, I want to let you guys know that not everything I mention here is accurate! Please correct me if I say anything wrong! You can also comment some tips you think it will be helpful to some new players! Of course, I won't reveal all secrets so I'll start with the basics!​

HOW TO PLAY?​

You spawn in a team of 4, you can represent any color CYAN RED YELLOW ORANGE etc! The main goal is to fill as many turf as you can with your team! A Splatter game lasts for 3 minutes! There will be three things in your inventory when you spawn :​

1. Splattershot ( Bow )
2. Blaster ( Shovel )
3. Teleportation ( Ghast Tear )

The Splattershot is a weapon where you can use to paint! This weapon has no cool down! The Splattershot paints around 5 blocks! The Blaster paints around 5 blocks too, but it uses 10% of your ink! This weapon also has no cool down! Lastly, we have the Ghast Tear, it teleports your nearest teammate! The Ghast Tear has a 30 second cool down, so choose wisely on when to use it!

Some players ask me how to swim. Just sprint! Use the up arrow to do so! You won't see yourself do a swimming animation but other players will!

HOW I PLAY! ( utopiia )

Not sure if this was necessary to add- but here's how I play! I usually vote for big maps! Big maps means more turf to fill! When the games starts, I'll try to find a big, empty space! If you're new to the map or want to learn more, just wander around! Help yourself to notice some good spots! (credit to @soap )

I mainly use the Splattershot! Sometimes, I use the Blaster!

I try to get to 1.4k in 2 minutes! That means 700 in each minute! During the remaining minute, I'll try to get to 2k! (also credit to @soap )​

I don't kill in game, if you see me, I won't kill you unless you do it first! It gets annoying when I see someone kill me since I'll waste a few seconds just to get back to my previous spot to fill in the turf. Saying "sorry" might let other players know that you did it on accident and won't try to kill you.​

I apologize to everyone who I didn't apologize in game, just to let you know my chat is off sometimes so I can't see the messages!

I use split controls! They help you know where you're aiming with your Blaster!​

SOME TIPS​

1. Don't camp! It won't help your team fill in the turf!
2. Don't kill people if you want to be BEST PLAYER! If you want to be the best, try to not focus on killing people, focus on filling the turf!

Killing is okay! This is a strategy the a lot of new players do, but doing excessive killing is not! This may annoy the opposite team and we want to end the game in good terms! If a player from the enemy's team asks you to stop, I would recommend doing so!​

1. When you swim, you are immune, meaning people can't kill you unless you pop out from the ground!
2. If you died and need to go back to your previous spot quickly, use the Ghast Tear! It has a cool down of 30 seconds so use it wisely! I use it when I'm about to die when I fall to the void- pro gamer move
3. If you ran out of ink and have no place nearby that has your turf, use the remaining ink in your Splattershot! This only work when you have 1%-9%! If you have 10% remaining, you can use the Blaster!

BEST PLAYER​

The Best Player is the person who has filled the most turf in the game! Anyone can be Best Player, no matter if they're from the good or bad team! You can see that best players can get insane scores like 2k-3k! Practice if you want to be Best Player! I used to get 700 as my final score when I began to play Splatter, now I get around 1.8k-2.3k! Highest score that I've gotten must be 2.9k!

I hope this helped some players! I'm sorry if some things don't make sense, I'll fix this thread over the time, I'm still learning!

Correction: The Blaster fills 9 blocks and sometimes 13 blocks but other than that yes I agree! Although small maps could be good if they were more like Mario! But I hope this gets pinned since those old threads are outdated and some of them aren’t factual! :)

Another correction! Jumper teleports you to a random player not the closest one.

I’m not sure if this may be the case but I think you can try spamming right click while using the bow for Windows to jump bow

Or u can do what u do to shoot arrows with a bow while simultaneously using the space button

also, I hope you don't mind if I add on to some tips for mcpe? Recently I'm back on win10 but Ive played on mcpe ever since splatter came out until I quit, so like I hope it's okay

I recommend knowing which maps to use the bow or shovel. Nowadays, rarely it is recommended to use the shovel, since it's all new maps, but some maps like Camp Triggerfish I find it's ideal to use the shovel more bc it's splatter isn't 9 blocks, it's more than that, just like before. but it's up to you, if you can get high scores with bow, than go for it!

Also, competition can be tight on splatter games, where the winning team may flip flop multiples times in the game. I recommend following one of your opponents. Where ever they are splattering, splat back there! It cancels out for them, and it's more turf for you! (Don't do this with small areas, do this with larger areas).

This is very helpful, I never really played splatter but I did once or twice but there were Tryhards But ima check it out
