Firstly, the requirements are you need;
At least one video on Brlns
1,000+ Subs
Secondly, there are two ways to Aquire your rank/prefix
1. Go to the server then type /youtube [Your channel name] [Your Email adress] (Without the []’s)
(You may have too many warning points in which case do #2
2. Go to the forums (Where you are now) And go to the ‘Support section’
Then you create a thread with the following info;
Your YT channel’s name
Your IGN (In game name)
And a screenshot to prove you own it. (Example below)

The reason a photo like this proves you own the channel is simple; you can’t subscribe to yourself.
Tag staff that are Moderators Global Moderators or Admins (Don't tag vertx)
And then you wait. (BE PATIENT, The staff have the whole forums to help, they’ll get to you eventually)

First, you need a PayPal account, debit or credit card.
Then, go to the brlns shop, add GOLD rank, DIAMOND rank or EMERALD rank to your cart, then proceed to checkout, buy one (ONLY BUY ONE) enter your Minecraft username and bam.
(GOLD is 5$ And lasts for one month)
(DIAMOND is 10$ and lasts for three months)
(EMERALD is 25$ and lasts forever)
‘Why do I want a VIP rank?’
Well, being a VIP gives you access to cool items and commands normal players cant get!
Like VIP walk trails, Pets, Magic staff effects and more!
The commands are;
/tag [Turn on and off the visibility of your VIP tag]
/color [Change the color of your Name and Chat]
(Use: say just /Color and a list of colors come up (Color of the word is the color of the text), lets say "Sky" is this color (It is) Use /color chat sky and everything you say is this color, same with your name, but instead of chat you put nick.
/fly [This lets you soar around the lobby like a majestic parrot on steroids!]
(Note: /tag MUST be enabled for this command to work so you don’t get reported for hacking)
(Note 2. If you see a VIP flying while playing in a game then they are hacking, so please report them.)
/stats [This allows you to see another player's stats]
(Let's say you wanted to see Hazard_dutchAD’s stats, you would say /stats Hazard_DutchAD
And it would come up with this

If Hazard joined the server I’m in, it would say
Alert Hazard_DutchAD is now online
If he joined a server that isn’t mine (Let's say he joined MurderMystery and I was playing BlockParty) it would say ((No idea why anyone would ever want to join a server that I'm not in, though)
Alert Hazard_DutchAD is now playing MM
If he left the server altogether it would say
Alert Hazard_DutchAD is now offline
If he joined another server (From the orange dye in your inventory or /friend join) it would say
Alert Hazard_DutchAD is no longer online

Private conversations are a great place to have out with friends, although you can only have five people invited.
Creating a private conversation is like making a thread, but it's in another place, although you do have to invite people.
Name the conversation, add someone by their forums name, add text and create the convo!

Thankfully with the brilliance of vertx, this is easily fixed.
There used to be a /switch command, but that was removed, now all you need to do is say /logout, it will kick you from the server. Join again and do /login and it will bring up a screen where you can put the username and password, put in the correct info and you’re in!
‘I didn’t buy the game and now I cant play brokenlens’
Honestly, that is really your own fault.
They added that so people like you stop Stealing their game, how do you expect them to make Minecraft better with more updates if they have no money?
Spend the 11-20 dollars and buy the game.

Being invisible is a BIG advantage over other players, and is not allowed on our server, it's not fair on others who need to kill you if they can’t see you.
This also goes for partial skins, like little dogs or children, and Both will be asked to change their skins and if they refuse they will be banned for 24 hours.
The size needed for a partial skin is at least one block tall and visible from ALL SIDES.
(Skin packs count, too.)

Offence > Punishment > Description (If needed)
Abusing/Bullying > 2-day ban (longer if the offense is repeated) > Excessive abuse/bullying of another player
Advertising (Channel) > 10-day ban > Advertising a channel with no BrokenLens content
Advertising (Server) > Permanent ban > Advertising the IP address of another server
Bypassing (Ban) > Permanent ban > Using another account to access the server while one of their accounts is banned
Bypassing (Mute) > Ban for the same amount of time as mute > Using another account to chat while one of their accounts is muted
Chargeback > Permanent ban > A chargeback is basically when you buy a rank or something else from the shop and then claim you didn't buy it and someone else did, and get the money back in your account.
Excessive Bans > Permanent ban > Five or more bans of a legitimate reason
Glitch Exploiting > 7-day ban > Abusing any server or Minecraft glitch to benefit themselves
Hacking > Permanent ban > Hacks of any kind

I get it, it's like we use a whole different language, but I'll make a list of a few terms here.

Tryhard - Someone who helps the server (Mostly to become staff) But some people help because they like the server.
Hackusate - Accuse someone of hacking
Brlns - BrokenLens
Ldb - Leaderboard
(More may be added when i think of them, I use the forums so much terms dont really stick out to me anymore!)
