BROKENLENS APPLICATION
BUILDER AND HELPER​

Hello. I have noticed a lot of people are interested in applying for staff. To apply for staff, you must create a staff application. This thread is to explain the steps in applying for staff, how to increase your chances in getting staff, and more. I hope this helps!
  • DISCLAIMER: Please refrain from asking staff to have a staff rank. Asking staff to be a staff member lowers your chances in becoming staff, as it portrays impatience in a way.
BROKENLENS STAFF APPLICATIONS

You could apply to become either a HELPER or a BUILDER. Staff applications for HELPER and BUILDER are open all the time, you could apply whenever you want.
  1. Staff application for HELPER > https://apply.brlns.net/ .
  2. Staff application for BUILDER > https://apply.brlns.net/builder
When you apply for HELPER, you will not get a response if you are accepted or not. However, when you apply for BUILDER, you do get a response when you are accepted or not. If you haven't received a response yet, "...it's either because I'm not accepting any builders (team is full) or their app is pending." -Diavent
  • NOTE: You could also do staff applications in a conversation. If you don't want to do the staff application through the link or you have submitted too many applications, you could create a conversation with select staff, but all of the staff won't be able to see it at the same time.

    How to create a Conversation:
    • The first step is to click "Inbox" near the top right corner next to your username on forums.
    • Then, you click "Start a New Conversation" under Inbox in the bottom right corner.
    • In the box, Participants, invite who you need to invite.
    • Start typing your application.
What to Include in your Staff Application:
  • In your Staff HELPER application, you should include your Time Zone, your IGN, a Biography (Tell a little bit about yourself), and why you want to join the staff team. Those are really the main points but it certainly doesn't help to include details about your personal life! You could share how much or how little of your personal life, but maybe you could include some extracurricular activities you do, like soccer.
  • For your BUILDER application, include your IGN, Time Zones, and what time you will be available. You should also "...include your experience in building, how long you have been building, and how dedicated they [you] are to the server."-Diavent. In addition, you must also show screenshots of your build (preferably screenshots of multiple builds rather than screenshots showing the same build in different angles). After that, you could add any other information that would help your case.
Some things to consider for your applications:
  • In what ways have you helped on the server and forums?
  • How active are you on the servers and forums?
  • [BUILDER] When you show people your builds, do they have positive reactions to it? What are some things you excel in Building?
  • [BUILDER] How committed would you be to the server if you were a Builder? How much time does it take you to build a map? How have you practiced being a good builder?
Increasing Your Chances in getting your application accepted:
  • While reading your application, the staff that is reading it is looking for honesty. Being honest may slightly increase the chances of you being accepted. The staff member that is reading the application is NOT judging. Be open and honest.
  • Staff members look for good character. Being honest is one example. They are looking for kind, helpful, patient people. They are also looking for people that are active on both forums and servers and people that do a good job and knows what they are doing.
Getting Accepted:
  • If you get accepted, the staff rank will be added to your account. If this happens, congrats! You got accepted for staff and your staff rank will be set on the servers for you shortly.
  • Now that you got accepted, Congrats! Keeping doing what you were doing before. You could be promoted to a higher level of staff if you keep up the good work (Except if you are a BUILDER).

  • How many people have you reported so far in Player Reports?
  • How do you help people on the servers?

Errors 1. You cannot ask Woona for staff application since you already stated on builders.
2. You can no longer start as trial everyone begins as helper.
3.Its not why you should join its why you like to join. No problem.

Your error is you can apply for Helper or TRIAL

Trial means they will test you out how good your work on the server are.

Helper means answering someone's question. And solving some problems related to BrokenLens.

(And also don't give wrong informations) That what helper(s) do.

vertx is a must to apply warrior rates it for vertx but vertx handles the decision
