Say if you wanted a name, but it was taken. Taken by you. You owned the spare and where the only one who had the password so it wasn’t a shared account. Could you get the account deleted (with proof you own it) and take the name?

Yes but recently they were able to do so. It was a girl who asked and they were able to change her name.

When you buy a transfer ticket, you can go back to one of your previous usernames. But only yours, we don’t delete a random inactive username.
