I have no clue what a photo "I'd" sort of thing is. So I can't send screenshots but I took 4.

Staff ia already aware that you can go out of the map.
Also, when you are posting something and want to add a picture with it, if you are on a mobile device you can tap upload file, then click choose file, and then pick a picture from your picture album. If you are using PC, then do what Strelitzia said.
