This shouldn’t necessarily be a suggestion. This is honestly more of a question for staff:
Should players get muted/banned for using the “your mom” joke?
The reason this was brought to my attention is because there are some people out there that have… lost their mom :( this joke just makes the situation worse. Other than that, it is also just quite offensive in general.
I’ve seen so many players spamming “your mom” to people and it absolutely kills me, so this would be great. Also, I apologize if this is already a rule, and I didn’t know about it.

I don't really believe people should be banned/muted for this unless it turns into bullying.
It's like muting someone for talking about airplanes without knowing the other person's family member died in a plane crash. it's not their fault they didn't know about the other person's personal life.

i understand what you're saying, but we'd quite literally have to ban every word if we use that logic. just because something tragic has happened to some people doesn't mean we restrict the usage of that word entirely. i'm sure the people that have dealt with that loss are used to hearing people talk about mothers.

There is a difference from mentioning someone’s mom and saying the joke “your mom”

u can just do the command /ignore add {player}

also i see we're you're coming from but i don't think it should be a mutable nor bannable word since it doesn't affect that much players but if it does to you, you can just /ignore them

I don’t find it offensive at all, in fact it’s great using against toxic 10 year olds

But I understand what you say about it, but muting/banning someone for using “your mom” on someone’s mom is dead, is quiet unfair, because I’m sure the person using this will not know that the person’s mom is dead.. if they knew that their mom’s dead and they are using it for a roast etc, it’s just a /ignore matter.
