But fact is, when u avoid talking about yourself but rather focus on other ppl, ppl will like you More better and will feel more inclined and want to get to know u better..

My lesson for you (from a wise person in my life).
There are two kinds of people in the world: "me me me" people who think the world revolves around them. When someone tells them a story they are likely to say "one time that happened to me blah blah blah....." or start the next sentence with Me, myself, or I. The next are the "you you you" people. When you tell them something they LISTEN to what you say and ask a question or show general interest in what you are saying. This wise person told me you have to pay attention to wether you are "me me me" or "you you you". I personally think your bragging is adorable and you deserve to "toot your own horn".
Just remember to stay humble.
