Ignore pop-up ads and they are spambot. I've gotten pop-up ads before about p**n or dating sites, which I don't like.
Run a virus scan on your phone or your pc.
I’m sure he has his reason for limiting his profile. If you're being followed by him, you can view his profile.

Well from previous experience when I'm downloading gfx effects, texture packs, etc with media fire, is that the first time you click the link it will say "click OK to download your file" and you're never supposed to click that. If it's adfly, there's always skip ad button at the top right, if not, you should be able to click your tabs button at the top of your screen by the site link and then you'll most likely see "redirecting"
