Holy cow I thought this was about the visual artists here at BrokenLens and you would go on a rant about me and other people. ;-; I always assume the worst case scenario.

Anyways I don't the songs are that bad... but I have kinda low expectations.

Her voice is good I like it, just some of the lyrics that bother me. Her singing in Spanish tho amazed me.

I feel like it’s mainly the “popular” artists that are trash, in my opinion. Talking about explicit things and/or repeating the same words over and over again just to make it catchy.

There are still some great and amazing music artists out there such as Eden, Jeremy Zucker, Blackbear, NF, AJR, etc. (In my opinion ._.) but you have to dig down extremely deep to find those types of artists. For me, as my personal opinion, the type of artists I like are ones who talk about real-life things... Of course s♥♥, drugs and etc are “real-life” things you can do and have, and some of those songs are okay, but I mean they sing about their feelings and make it relatable to their audience. The only type of songs about s♥♥, drugs, alcohol, etc are those that tell a story behind them. I hate how they don’t get any recognition since it’s buried underneath all the trashy pop songs (kinda the reason why I left that genre of music, or that type of music [the kind that only plays about s♥♥, drugs, etc]).
