it was a normal game. star (@Mal) and i were on yellow, and we were doing pretty good. star had a bunch of kills, and we knocked out green, red, and blue. except, for one player.
we searched high and low for them. we even bought the player tracker, but couldn’t find them. little did we know, they were hidden in plain sight.
“don’t you see me??” flora (the last blue) questioned. “really?!”
we just ignored her at that moment. star had died, so i was working to get her gear and weapons again.
“GIMME GEMS!” star joked, as i was shoving the diamonds in the chest.
“do you just want this to end now?” flora seemed anxious. we thought for a second or two, before giving an answer.
“no. i want a good fight,” i replied bluntly, getting some more diamond and iron. our teammate pog agreed too.
“i’m bad at pvp though!!” flora complained slightly. that didn’t phase us though. “you guys seem like a 100% win team too.”
we continued looking, flora giving slight hints here and there. we were looking down along the bottom of the map (it was the ufo one), looking on blue island, and red and green. nothing.
“i see you guys. i see star.” flora was trying her best to help us. it was 1v4, she knew she really didn’t stand a big chance. star ended up falling in the void, so we had to get her gear again.
we got even better gear, not knowing what flora had. once we were done, we continued the search. we retraced our tracks, looked on the random islands, still nothing. just as we were about to quit, something happened.
we were at middle, looking around the bottom thinking she may have dug herself in there. star and i were getting pretty frustrated.
“above your heads,” flora called out one last time. star, pog and i looked up. flora had built a small sky base. we had thought it was just from when blue was building up, so that’s why we had ignored it.
“jesus....” i muttered to myself realizing how blind i am.
i looked over at star and she nodded, giving me the okay. i began to build up, right under flora’s sky base. i broke the final block and she fell on top of me. i don’t think she had realized, though. i quickly stabbed her with my sword, and pushed her off. i watched in satisfaction as her body tumbled off the edge, smacking one of the last blocks before hitting the void.
YELLOW WON
“YESSS!” we all cheered as the text came up on screen.
“good job goldie!!” star called out, as i looked around one last time before jumping off. i had fulfilled my duty that game. i could finally breathe easy again.
(all this actually did happen like the great christmas war - i have the screenshots and everything. i just kind’ve added a little bit of drama to it. do y’all like the over dramatic stories of star and my games? because i have a few more.....and, we’ve added someone to our squad.)
