The host called out Wisdom's name at the next voting. She screamed and struggled against
two of her friends as they forced her onto the ground, pinning her. One of them got a large
rock and...lets just say that Wisdom died quickly.
"Too bad she was innocent!" the host laughed as everyone sorrowfully stared at the body.

"It's best to stay in clumps," Matty told his friend. "That way if one of us gets attacked, the
other can try and defend us."
The two of them were sitting by the edge of a pond, dangling their toes in the water. Large
bushes concealed them from view; perfect for a murderer to kill them sneakily.
"What if one of us was a murderer?" Matty's friend asked him.
She looked up at him with soft, wide eyes.
"I don't know," he said, staring back at her. "What if one of us was a murderer."
There was silence as the two of them stared at each other. Then she lunged forward, clasping
a hand over Matty's mouth and pushing him to the ground. Matty tried to scream but her
hand muffled them. She brought out a knife; it glinted in the sunlight before coming down on
his chest. Bringing down her weapon a few more times, his friend got up, panting as Matty
bled out.
"You should try one of these," one friend said to the other. "I've had this yesterday; they
taste like blueberries."
Rotten Cheese examined the berry with nimble fingers. It had a blood-red colour.
Trusting her friend, she swallowed the berry. It had a sweet but bitter aftertaste. Before she
could comment on it, Rotten Cheese gasped and collapsed to the floor. Her friend laughed and
crouched by her side.
"Those are poisonous," they informed her, pulling out their knife. "They paralyse your body and
leave you gasping for breath. The poison should kill you in a minute unless someone kills you
first."
Rotten Cheese couldn't open her mouth to scream; it was as if someone had glued her mouth
shut.
"Goodbye friend," the murderer said, bringing their knife over their head.
Before the murderer could strike her, there was a shout from in front of them. Rotten Cheese
heard her friend swear and runoff as footsteps approached her head. Without another word,
the person forced something down her mouth. After a few seconds, Rotten Cheese could feel
her heart beating more slowly than before. Her limbs gained feeling in them again, and she
sat up, thanking the person who saved her.
"It was nothing," they said. "Be careful around here, you can't trust anyone. Anyways, do you
know who tried to kill you?"
Rotten Cheese paused. In elementary school, she and her murderer made a pact to never
snitch on each other. No matter what. She'll keep that promise.
Rotten Cheese shook her head grimly. The healer gave her something to drink before they
headed in opposite directions.
