@Mal and i were on yellow team. we were on the uno card map. it was a simple game. everyone with teams of 4. little did we know it’d be a very long and bumpy ride.
within a few minutes green team was done for, and so was blue. both teams got killed easily. yellow killed green, and i think red got blue. so, that left red and yellow.
yellow was preparing. we were collecting iron and diamonds. we were upgrading our armor and swords. the shine of the swords was magical, in all honesty.

star (@Mal) and i (tainted/goldie) were getting tired of waiting. we were running back and forth between middle and our island, when i noticed something quite interesting. fire. everywhere. it was red’s tactic of keeping us away.
“star should we rush?” i asked, noticing the game had been going on for a while now.
“get some more weapons, then we’ll all go,” star replied, frantically rushing back to get more food and blocks. i agreed and we kept gearing up.
star attempted her tnt, but it didn’t phase them. we were a little sad that didn’t work, but we knew we couldn’t give up.
red made an attempt to get our mob, the skeleton. it didn’t work though. we killed the two that tried to kill our skeleton. poor dude looked horrified.
once we all were geared up, we charged. only star and i though. once we broke onto their base we thought we had them, we didn’t. they killed us sadly. i ended up getting 7 kills somehow or another in that charge.
star and i got our extra gear, and made another attempt. that also failed. my mind was racing with thoughts.
“are we gonna win?”
“how long will this go for?”
“should we give up?”
all those thoughts were echoing through my head, but i pushed myself. i ran around middle getting a stack of diamonds, to get golden apples, potions, etc.

our other two teammates were finally fully geared up too. once we left our base and got to middle, facing red, we charged. star and i leading, and our two teammates behind us. we ran through their fire. i thought we had lost one or two, but we all emerged from it. we made our way through their maze, and attacked.
the two teammates distracted red while star and i got to their mob. luckily red didn’t have too much gear then, so it was easy to keep them off. star and i both worked together, swinging and swinging at that mob. finally, it fell dead. we ran out to help, but we ended up getting killed because we were low from their attacks when we charged in, and their minions.
luckily, we ended up having backup swords. we grabbed those and ran back to red, swinging full force. it took a little bit, but finally, after a good hour of fighting for our lives, the magical words showed up on our screen.
YELLOW WON
we jumped for joy. all the stress and pressure of our battle was lifted. we had achieved victory. star and i looked over at each other, before we were sucked into the hub.
and that, my friends, is how yellow team won the great christmas war of 2019. even if it doesn’t make it into the brlns history books, it’ll be in star and mine.
