It was finally the day of truth.... The best or even worst, day of my life. First day in high school.
I was always in-love with high school dramas, so experiencing this would be awesome.
To be fair, I've never made any friends before, I was almost home school for my entire life...
So I'm pretty excited to test how real school works.
HONK HONK! My mom called out and said it was time to go.
I quickly grabbed my stuff without a second glance and ran in the car.
Mom: what took you so long sweetheart?
Me: had to do my hair
Mom: oh I see.
A few minutes later, I've began to see a huge building beginning to take form. Exactly like the ones in the movies. Beautiful.
Mom: have a nice first day sweetie!
I waved and looked around, not watching where I was going.
A few seconds later, I have realized that I was on the ground.
Me: ugh seriously?
I looked around and finally spotted this kid that I bumped into.
I got up, and walked up to him.
Me: hey, I'm sorry for bumping into you.
???: ....
He quickly grabbed his backpack and left without saying a thing.
"What a jerk," I thought.
I then walked to my class ignoring the whole bumping into each other thing.
After school, I decided to explore a little more. Little did I know, this tiny choice changed my whole life.
