So, I've heard it's forums anniversary today. I might be wrong but I do know that BrokenLens was definitely started in October so let's dedicate this thread to this month then!

Vertx seems to be busy irl at the moment but you know what's great? He divides his time up to listen to us. Being a busy person, you might think he skims over what we say but no, when he's online - he's fully hearing and seeing everything. He does everything he can...to keep us happy. Without him, we wouldn't have even met each other.

I want this day to be more special and instead of having another meetup, please...please can you leave positive comments here for Vert?

People join forums mostly to criticise the servers and community and hearing all this sadness and negativity must be stressful for Vert. I want Vert to have a thread to refer back to so he can see just how much we love what he's done - I want him to see posts that give him strength and encourage him.

It's been a really fun year for me. I can't believe how far it's come. First off, I want to give thanks to @vertx for a.) Creating such an AMAZING server, and b.) for giving me the opportunity to be a moderator. I really do appreciate it. And secondly, to everyone on the forums. The community that we have gives vertx the ability to continue to make cool features. You guys have also helped me out a lot, and I thank you guys for that.

Thank you so, so much Vertx, for all the hard work and effort and long nights spent coding that you have put into this server and forums. You've connected so many people from all around the world (3+ million, I believe?), and allowed all of us to build incredible friendships, maybe friends that we can stay in touch for years to come. Who knows? :laugh:

Thank you for all the memories, the times we were all laughing our heads off because someone's pet pig started dancing, or when somebody got a 25 kill streak in OITC only to suffocate in a wall and lose it xD.

Thank you for creating this extraordinary thing which is more than a community, but a family. Where we have all spent so many hours these last weeks/months/year being a part of. Wait, not "spent", I mean "very wisely spent" :cool:.

For building a world where we can all go when we are upset or fed up, or simply bored, knowing that there will always be friendly faces (or names) ready to greet us.

Thank you once again for everything, Vertx, and congrats on making such a successful server!! :mrgreen: :thumbsup:
