The water glittering in the moonlight as I step along side the rocks, listening to the buzzes from various bugs filling the air. I pull off my jacket and tie it around my waist to avoid getting to warm. The breeze tugs at my ponytail and I let my hair fall to my shoulders, keeping the band on my wrist. I think about how I've been so cut off from the world lately, and how I really like the feeling of not knowing what's going on. It's like my own world, where I don't need to worry. I take out my headphones and start to listen to the playlist I made months ago to occupy me while I run. I find the beginning of the path that leads me away from the water and to the forest and start jogging. The path turns left around the forest ahead and I slow my pace to a walk, but don't follow the turn. I look around to make sure nobody is around, and pull out my flashlight and turn it to a dim setting and step into the darkness that hides me from the street lights. Sticks cracking with every step, I head to the center of the woods, cautious about my surroundings, like always. I arrive to the center of the small forest and spot the branch that is stuck in the ground and I take off my headphones, then put them in my jacket pocket. My hand wraps around the branch and I pull it out of the ground, and I place a sunflower seed from my pocket in the small hole in the ground. The seed falls through the loose dirt gradually, and another hole appears in the ground a few meters away, with a ladder. I stick the branch back in the ground and head over to the ladder and check to make sure nobody is around me. After I know the coast is clear, I climb down and walk up to a door and knock three times...
