The Best Builder Tips
In this thread, I will be sharing some tips with you for The Best Builder. If you have some more tips for this game which I have not included here, feel free to tell me your tips and I may add them.
Tip #1 - Change the floor and time.
Changing the floor and time can make your build look so much better.
To change the floor, type #setfloor into the chat while holding the block you wish to set the floor as. An alternative way to do this is to type #setfloor and then the ID of the block you wish to use. Keep in mind that some things cannot be set as the floor, such as water. To change the time, type #settime (day, night, sunrise or sunset). The commands are there for a reason, use them!

Always keep an eye on the clock. Before you know it, there will only be 10 seconds left and you will not end up finishing your build. If you finish early, add details to your build. You could change the floor, change the time, plant trees, use bonemeal... The list goes on and on. You have 6 minutes, use it up.

Tip #3 - Watch out for the height limit!
Before you start building your gigantic tower or your huge volcano, be aware of the height limit. If you start building and you hit the height limit, you may need change your plan or even restart. If you want to build something very tall, just remember that there is a height limit and you should be fine.
Tip #4 - Don’t try to build too big.
When you’re planning what to build, remember there is only 6 minutes. Don’t build something super big if you’re not going to finish it. But then again, don’t build something to small. Build something that’s the perfect size!
Tip #5 - Google for inspiration.
Is the theme something you don’t know? You can ask someone in chat what it is or simply just search it up google. You still don’t know what to build for it? Get some inspiration off google. But make sure to not completely copy google! Make it your ow build, change it up. If you have still got no idea, I suggest leaving the game and do not start building something off topic. Building off topic is just a waste of time for you and everyone else in the game.
Tip #6 - Think outside of the box.
When you’re building, you really need to think outside of the box. Is the theme apple? Don’t just build a boring, old apple. You can maybe make a boy eating an apple, a worm in the apple.. There’s so many possiblities! Think creatively.
Tip #7 - Plan before you start.
As soon as you find out the theme, brainstorm in your head ideas for the first few seconds. When you are ready and know exactly what you’re going to build, get all the blocks you are going to use ready and use the search bar. This saves you so much time.
Tip #8 - Make detailed pixel art.
I personally don’t recommend doing pixel art, but if you really want to you can. When making pixel art, you need to make it detailed. You can do this by shading, using a variety of blocks and outlining. It really makes your pixel art look great.
Tip #9 - Don’t vote unfairly.
When voting, don’t vote unfairly. Voting unfairly isn’t just voting terrible for every build, it also includes voting awesome for every build or voting awesome for your friends just because they are your friends. It ruins the fun for everyone.
