The Armor is Useless? Let me Explain

When I go PvP Player in SkyWars, SG, etcs........
When I PvP him I don't get any protection from the armor,
and he was fighting me without armor,
The armor is not giving protection to the players,
-But-
The Swords gives Damage Like : Wooden Sword 3+ Attack Damdage. Stone Sword +5 Attack Damage. etcs.......
I'm not gonna lie, the swords gives damage.
But
The Armor doesn't give protection.

Lolz so wrong it takes me me aleast a minute to kill a person with full armour on unless I eat my amazing shiny apples

But in this server I pvp him but the armor doesn't gave him any protection.

I pvp a guy he had on diamond boots and hat and the rest iron it took me a minute to get him low then i had to eat a shiny apple to fully kill him ._.

In The Past the swords damage was like the fist. But now is a real damage.

Yes i understand what you are talking about and i think it sucks now like i said i quited xD 4 months bl for this reason before in the old bl the armour you would have on did protect you but now it simply doesnt as much as it should be like yes it kinda does help but not as much as it should and the weapon attack damage is kinda good but like you said if you have armour and hit with wooden sword you would still do the same damage as not having the armour :/ hope it gets fixed because it gets annoying sometimes
