Nah don't try getting and old version the new one will get fixed in a few days as usual and at one point in time you will have to use it anyways.
I just don't think its worth the effort and the potential risk of it like destroying your minecraft, crashing your whole device, accidently getting all of your worlds deleted, getting a virus...some of the usual stuff you know?

I would just take a break from Minecraft in general for a few days because these updates really drive people away from playing due to all these crashes. It had to be Microsoft
