With that out of the way, lets proceed.
The 1.2 update, better known as the 'Better together' update adds several features that will affect brokenlens as a whole, and some will add minor changes to the way the games are played.
I will state changes and what is good and bad with what it means for the server in mind.
One of the better things is the fact you need an xbox account (Even if it is just the app) to use servers.
The fact you cannot change your name means it gets EXTREAMELY harder to ban/mute evade
This will mean several players will be lost as they cannot create an xbox account
This is a big one, and it is that you need to have LEGITIMATELY purchased Minecraft and not gotten it for free from some website or it wont let you play.
Again, this will lose players because some are using minecraft versions they got for free from things like Tutuapp.
But this will also make sure the devs for minecraft MAKE MONEY from purchases because people will be forced to stop stealing their game.
Minor changes;
Parrots, the cute things that fly around and follow things, and like the ghasts, blazes and bats it is highly unlikely there will be a pet of it, as it would be extreamely hard to program a flying pet, but it may still happen, you never know, Edwjusti and Vertx are smart.
Banners will probably be used in aesthetics with maps, same with stained glass.
Armour stands will possibly be added in the shop when buying leather armour or kits. (Showing what armour and some weapons you will get with text still explaining what you'll get)
Fireworks will probably be incorporated somehow, like maybe when you win a game or some might shoot from the interface when you open a gem
Sheilds will probably affect combat.
