Texture Pack Help

I think this is the right place for this xD

okay so I really want to download new texture packs but whenever I open them in MC it always gives me an error and I’m not sure why. It isn’t just one texture pack it happens with it happens with every single one I try to download.

anyone know how to help? I’m on iOS

Hmmm I’m not sure, I’ve never ever in my life seen that. Maybe the website or pack isnt being accepted as Minecraft deemed it as a virus?

(Or it’s a pack for PC only, that sucks but happens alot)

I think there is an error when the person made it, so I'd recommend finding a different faithful pack

Hmmm I’m not sure, I’ve never ever in my life seen that. Maybe the website or pack isnt being accepted as Minecraft deemed it as a virus?

(Or it’s a pack for PC only, that sucks but happens alot)

I’ve tried a pack I know for sure is for PE and I still get the same thing...
This is very confusing xD

Well you see, I've created a texture pack once, and I was looking thru all the coding in the text files, and then i accidentally deleted a line of text (that text was important but i didn't care) so when i imported it to Minecraft the same problem happened to me (the problem your having, i had)

Ah I see
I’m not sure if this matters but I tried redownloading a texture pack I had deleted for storage but the same error happened and I know for a fact it worked before I deleted it

It could be that you are downloading the wrong texture pack. Some packs are made specifically for iOS, or pc. However, there are times when the creator says it works on multiple platforms, but a small update or bug prevents it from working! We did have an update recently, so that might have messed things up.
