@LEOLOVESLIONS POV
"Stupid rules, stupid team, stupid life and stupid depression," I grumbled.
That was not even half the things that was wrong with my life. I had no friends, a family that did not care abouyt me and a competition that I was sure to lose. TeamSkywars ruined my life, I was going to lose and I would have to die. My brother had dared me to sign up this year, to prove I am worthy of Brokenlens even though I was worthless.
I traipsed down the hallway and turned left into the bathroom. Even the bathroom was less ruined than I am. I reached my hand out to the metal tap and slowly turned the water on. The water cames rushing out and I took some of the clear and refreshing substance and splashed my face. When I looked up to the mirror, I could not help to think how much I had changed. When I was little, I was a happy and bright child; so bright I could outshine a star.
That all changed when I found out that my father had died, being shot by some stupid Lifeboat soldiers.
My mother had little money and sold my brother and I as slaves. Sometimes, when I think of my mother I can forget that there is a war raging outside - and that my father was shot by them.
My family was like a box. This box had no nails or glue so the box it fell apart.
I turned off the tap and grabbed a towel (or what use to be a towel) and dried my forlorn face. As soon as the water was shut off, silence over came the lonely cottage. Bored of this silence, I weaved my way through the dilapidated cottage and streaked through the wooden door -which was falling apart- and found my way into the forest.
Orange, yellow and brown leaves were scattered around the forest floor and I slumped against an old oak tree. I drifted off into sleep.
@JcGarcia_29. POV
A beam of satisfaction was plastered on my face and I dawled into the forest and I found Leo. I shook his shoulder and he woke up and punched me.
"Ouch," I muttered as I rubbed my shoulder.
"Hey, I am sorry. You shouldn't have woken me up though," Leo looked vacantly at me.
"Well then, I will leave you to sleep then," I glared at him.
"Wait! Jc!" I whirled around and listened to what he had to say.
"We are on the same team, so yeah..that's it." Leo mumbled.
I stalked off and slowly returned to my unnaturally happy state. I was always positive. Every dark time, always had light.
When my little sister died, I changed my whole, entire outlook on life and endeavoured to be positive always. Emotions are like days, the Sun comes up and you are happy and then the Moon comes and you're sad. I taught myself to remember that the Sun would always come back for me.
@Steva177 POV
"CYBER!" I barked.
He waved to me enthusiastically.
"TRAINING STARTS NOW!" @Cyber45 roared back.
I grabbed a stick from the forest floor and brandished it as if it were a sword. Cyber grasped a sharp rock long enough to be a daggar. I charged, hitting him on the shoulder with my stick. He retaliated and jabbed me in the side, I doubled over and knelt on the dirt. Cyber placed his rock on my neck. I put my hands up and surrendered.
"I won again," Cyber stuck his tongue out at me.
"Blue team will win this! Good game bro." I clapped his shoulder.
"Yeah, we will win this." Cyber smirked.
I glanced up at the sky and soon realised it was late and I had to head home.
"Sorry Cyber. I got to go..." I waved goodbye and hurtled home.
"See you later!" Cyber boomed.
@WildFurball2003 POV
"Why can't I get this right?" I moaned in frustration.
I scrunched up all my papers and wiped my desk clear of everything which resulted in a giant mess on the floor. I gathered all my pens and started to clean up.
I slumped on the couch and sighed. I closed my eyes trying to relax. Three knocks on the door.
"Hey Furball!" A girly voice bawled.
"Streli?" I stumbled to the door and saw her grinning at me.
"Hey Furball. Want to...hang out? Maybe practise for TeamSkywars?" She casually leant against the doorway.
"Yep. Just hang on while I get my...weapons," She leapt up and held on the top of the doorway and hung on.
"I will just...hang around then," She chuckled.
I hustled inside and grabbed my explosives from the loose floorboard I hid it in.
"I thought you meant today Furball!"
"Wait! Hold your horses!"
I sprinted out and raced my bestfriend to the abandoned warehouse, where we usually hung out. @Strelitzia took out her bow and lit an arrow on fire, she took aim and hit a haybale right in the centre. My handmade explosive in my hand, I threw it at the burning haybale. BOOM! My ears popped and Strelitzia was rubbing her ears.
"That was loud!" Strelizia exclaimed.
"Pink team will win. We are so powerful, with my explosives and your arrows. We will stay in Brokenlens. I just know it." I thought aloud.
@KendraHawk did I mess the tenses up
