Anyyyyway, back to the question, BrokenLens wouldn't be the same without teaming tbh. Teams create most of the bonds and friendship between players that contribute to the warm community atmosphere of the servers. Without teaming...less people would be friends...more people would be independent. Maybe independence is a good thing but it also seems like detachment from society. They won't know what it means to be a 'member' of BrokenLens - that feeling of being included and part of something.
This is particularly bad when being hated on. Many people do this to each other but friends are there to support their hated friend so they are made stronger - they fight back and TOGETHER, they either make the hater want to leave or guilt the hater into apologizing. I know that sounds cruel to the hater but imagine if the 'victim' of the hater's insults had no friends. They'd have to face this problem alone. This is a minor development of cyberbullying! This can affect someone IRL! Too much of this can help start an emotional state like depression, for example.
People play Minecraft to escape from reality and the joy it gives them. Since reality is so harsh, they deserve to know what it's like to be part of a warm community. Without teams, the base of this community...is gone.
