Survive, Thrive, or Die
We went ahead, but I noticed Book lagged behind.
"Do you really think we can win this thing?" She asked.
"Yes, we can. We have to stay focused," I responded.
"And also, why are we teaming with so many people?! I mean, I'd feel horrible to refuse a team, especially because this is our first SG, but still...." She stated.
"I know how you feel," I said.
"And this too," she said, looking pale."At the spawning platforms. A guy from the booth that said that the people inside it never tell lies......well anyway, he said that one of the other team will betray us."
I gasped in shock. "Who?"
"He didn't say," she said.
"We should catch up to the others," I said, and started running.
We quickly caught up, thanks to the fact that a temporary holdup had been caused by Ian ' Misplacing' his diamond sword. I had seen that happening, and taken it.
I hadn't noticed we were in a new area. It was a jungle biome, with lush trees and beautiful mountains, coca pods adorned the trees. Ocelots roamed below, stopping beside a large pool. We were walking on a high path, near the mountains. It seemed if everything wonderful could happen here.
We kept on walking. We saw an abandoned camp, with things littering the floor. There were a few diamonds. And a half-broken wooden sword.
"What happend here?" Amara asked.
"Someone was killed," Ssunsett said.
"That's the whole point, isn't it?" Iuc said.
We moved on, and soon saw a chest.
"Woah, iron boots!" Ender_Slicer said.
"Big deal...NOT!" Said Iuc.
"Let's look at the other things," I said.
"There's nothing in there," a voice said.
"Who are you?" I asked, by means of greeting.
"Who are you talking to, Ang?"
"That voice! Can't you hear it?"
"Ang, are you hearing voices? Did you hit your head?"
"No, and NO! Am I.....?" I said.
"Um, am I missing something?" XxpandacookiexX said.
"This is new," said Book.
"Moving on, we need to find more chests," I said, feeling uneasy despite my tone of voice.
"We need to find the other team!" Ham exclaimed.
"WHATEVER ABOUT THE OTHER TEAM!!" I yelled."WE CANT BE DEPENDENT ON ANOTHER TEAM! Either way, it would cause trouble in the DeathMatch."
Ham looked sad.
"Listed Ham, I'm sorry I yelled, but it's the truth. We can't depend."
"I know," she said.
We walked ahead. A large lava pool sat there.
"Everyone, be careful not to fall into that!" I said, but as soon as the words left my lips, the rock Ian was tossing and catching fell on the ground and I tripped on it. I fell into the lava.
But nothing happend! Only that a pleasant sensation, kind of tingly, was spreading up.
"ANG!" Ice screamed.
"If you've killed her--" Book yelled at Ian, who was looking scared. Mostly of Book.
"Guys, I'm fine," I said.
"Did your head get hit?"
"NO. QUIT ASKING. Guess I'm resistant."
"Guess so," Iuc said.
I didn't tell the others, but the voice was back. It had said a name. Strelitzia. Like I knew what that meant.
"We need to keep going," Iuc said.
"I thought Angsk8 was the leader," Ssunsett said.
"Well, our leadership system must be different that yours. Iuc is my, you could say, second in command." I said, frowning. That had sounded stuffy.
"Moving swiftly on," Ssunsett said.
"You are dang right, Ssunsett!" I said.
"Please call me Sun."
"Look, there's a pool up ahead!" Book yelled, and before I could stop her, she ran and jumped right in. I ran to catch up, and tried to pull her out. But as soon as my hand touched the water, an excruciating pain shot through it. Ignoring this, I jumped in.
The world went black as I sank deeper.
