I don't really see a problem with supporting it, but would this mean that he'd have to downgrade the server as a whole in order to support an older version? @ssunsett :thinking-face:

If so then I honestly don't think it would be done, people look forward to the newer updates and vertx has to keep the server up to date (really it's his choice overall) with what's going on outside of the server (as in minecraft as a whole). As I can agree that the new update is glitchy, but I never really found it to be a problem with pvp or regular gameplay. I'm both a bedrock and java player, so I'm extremely capable of noticing loads of differences. And with java it's very easy for me to use the controls rather than bedrock ngl.
(^^This is only if vertx would have to downgrade the server version. )

Also, there is another thread asking for support in regards to this same matter. So, could we please try to refrain from creating multiple threads on this particular topic? :notworthy:

The staff really do read all the suggestions and ideas that come through here. It's not a problem to ask at all! But, let's just keep all our suggestions to one particular thread if its regarding your topic. :inlove:

I think brokenlens should a have a own java server, not making java with mcpe, because it is very confuse and hard to play to java users

Um.... I think BL nerfed Java too much! Even i use a diamond sword on my enemy he only take 1hp damage

The minecraft Java 1.14 combat update is the worst if you hit your enemy like 10cps they only take half Damage of your weapon and the only way you can hit them with full damage is to Long press your mouse! And i really hate it

Nah It's balanced. If you want to do more damage, just butterfly click. Butterfly clickers are balanced as it is, although regular clicking is nerfed. If the nerf was less, butterfly clickers would dominate the server, and would be super annoying.

1.8.9 would be to much of a advantage espically with block hitting. it'd make it more easier for java players to get wins.

Yeah but It's balanced currently. The java nerf would have to be more severe if 1.8.9 was allowed for the game to be balanced and fair. If what you are saying is true, you are basically saying you should have unfair advantages. The game is balanced currently between all versions. Java always think the nerf is too much meanwhile bedrock think the nerf was nothing. People just blame losses on versions instead of their skill even tho It's balanced.
