Raise the price of all ranks by like $5 - $10, but when you buy a rank you get a code that you can gift to a friend so you both can get the rank.

I buy Emerald rank for $35 and in the email reciept there is a link I can send to Wolfie or something. She clicks the link and it takes her to a page where she enters her IGN and the rank is added to the account
