Okay so since staff applications are open, both Warrior and Vertx probably have 400+ messages in their inbox. So this suggestion might be useful.
I think that Vertx should make a section only for staff applications. For example how there are sections to report players, report bugs etc... But no one will be able to view the staff applications except for Vertx, or other staff members he gives permission to. In order to make the staff application, users must be logged in or create an account on the forum to make an application. I'm trying to help stop prevent spam from Warrior's and Vertx's inbox. When a user clicks to apply, they should be sent to another tab.
For the application format, questions should be displayed in bold letters.
For example:
What is your Minecraft username?
(Insert answer)
What timezone do you live in?
(Insert answer)
What is your email? (For contacting)
(Insert answer)
Why would you like to be added the staff team?
(Insert answer)
Have you ever had experience of being a staff member before?
(Insert answer)
BUT I do see a small problem, though it should be easily fixable.
When a user has logged in the forum and they create a application.
Some people might put someone else's ign. Thats why when a user logs in their Forum account, it'll say who created the application. When someone is finished with the application, they will send it and it should say "Thank you for your application, you will receive a response soon.". BUT users will only be allowed to create an application every 2 weeks. Not saying to do that, but to help stop spam. If a user tries to create a new one and they haven't received a response, please wait until the two weeks are over and create another.
Vertx will be able to lock the applications whenever he doesn't need to recruit any staff. But they'll be opened whenever he does need a new staff member.
Each question must be answered in FULL DETAIL.
If the questions are answered vaguely, the application will be denied.
But Vertx will decide what the rules will be and what questions will be displayed.
This format is ONLY a SUGGESTION and it won't be 100% that it will be implemented.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for this, erm, suggestion. Feel free to comment it!
Have a lovely day~
