Quick question before stating my suggestion (Can Staff reply on thread that members have insufficient privileges to comment on?)
Why don't you make the Ban appeals section off-limits to members. What I mean is that if they didn't create the thread for the ban appeal and if they aren't a staff member, make all ban appeal threads off-limits to comment on, but keep it open to staff and the one who created it. Kinda like a public conversation that only included players can use. I think this would be so much more easy, helpful, and useful for staff members. Then you wouldn't have to worry about people spamming the thread with unnecessary information that you all already know or have access to.
But what I meant by like a convo is that, say they want to be unbanned and have friends to can vouch for their innocence, well you can invite that player to come speak and once they made their suggestion remove them from the thread to prevent unneeded comments. Please consider this suggestion....I would love to help make life so much more easier for the staff and I think this would be a great way to do it.
