A Minecrafter’s Life
Prologue
June 21, 2017
June 21, 2017 this day of my birthday. I had my best friend sleep over at my house, Olivia W. She was a Minecrafter, one who never stops talking about it. On the other hand, I am a noob… someone who knows very little about this creation. I have been playing for about 2 years but never had it crossed my mind that there are servers.
“Hey Hadley! Over here! Look!” Olivia yelled.
“What’s so important now…” I glanced at the screen. She was in a world, a Minecraft world. “So what, it’s a Minecraft world.”
“Not just any… It’s a server!” As soon as she said that word my mind started spinning. I was all over that server. “Cool, right? Now get in Minecraft and play, the port is…” She started to blabber on about the port and the address. I did as she said. “Now let’s play!”
“Ok… cool, how do I register?”
“Do /register and type in a password and BOOOM you’re in!” Her smile grew bigger and bigger. She told me to play TNT Run with her so I did. I failed so bad. The game objective was to run around and when you step on a block it falls. You must be quick on your feet. Something I am not very good at. Well, someday I won’t be a noob and will be a pro!
About an hour later I leveled up to level 2. Sweet! But sadly, everything fun must stop. Olivia’s phone crashed so we had to do something else. I started to walk away but then I just happened to feel some sort of wave flow through the air. What was it? I turned away and started to follow Olivia.
“I have to use the bathroom.” On the way, she stopped and started to watch what I was doing.
Looking around I kept looking for the source of the wave maker. I don’t know… I went to my phone and looked at it, it said in big red letters.
Certain people will be sent into the world of Minecraft…

Kathy, Zak, King, Banan, Dave, Song and Bell.
WHAT DID THAT MEAN!!!! Green smoke filled the room. It started to smell like lavender. Looking around desperately, I saw Olivia.
“Hadley! I saw what it said! Those people…” I started to lose her voice. “Part of gamer tags… FIND THEM!”
I suddenly felt lightheaded. I tried too hard to stay standing straight up, it was all most impossible. I couldn’t do it… I’m too weak! Gosh why me!!! All I wanted was…. Ugggg and was that too much to ask for. Well it’s over. I’m dead… I fainted and fell with a thump to the ground
