it's most likely because of 1.18 and since the server isn't compatible with it you have to wait it out til it gets fixed by mojang or if its just a server thing c:

same thing happened to me. I thought it was just my pc not generating the skin so I tried seeing if my iPhone 13 would do the same thing, and so it did : ( ig it's the update.

It just the server problem they have not yet support 1.18 properly so we need to wait for vertx to fix that problem it not minecraft bug so it brokenlens bug it has been confirmed

In this bug case we will called this bug as IOTA BUG.
There a lot of bug that have a name like
1.RHO - easy to fix the bug
2.OMEGA - it a little difficult to fix the bug
3.GAMMA - take a week to fix the bug
4.DELTA - take a month fix the bug
5.ALPHA - take a year to fix the bug
6.BETA - might be cannot be fix or can be fix
7.IOTA - might be cannot be fix or can be fix
