First off, I want to start this by mentioning that I respect, and appreciate every single staff member. From highest, to lowest. From most active to least active and their hard work.
I’m not making this thread to start an argument or a fight in the replies whatsoever, I’m writing this to discuss about staff’s activity.
This topic has been talked about a lot, yet of course it has to be turned into people eating each others' throats.
I know that many people are in my shoes, when there are no staff online and there are countless hackers in our games.
I completely understand the timezone difficulties and how this plays a major factor in why staff cannot be online.
This may be solved by having work schedules where they can discuss who will be in charge of the server at this time or that time, so not a specific time for them to forcefully be online. Since of course, staff members also have lives and may be busy at that certain time they have gotten.
Another idea could be to have at least one staff member online at a time. It’s better having one or two staff member online at a time rather than most staff members on at once and none online at all.
Lastly, I would love to suggest a new feature, or command similar to /grm and /frm which is /srm. This could be a messaging command specifically for players in need of a staff member’s help if you don't know where they could be or if they’re online. It could also solve the problem of not having any staff members online in our friend lists, or having any at all. It's also very difficult for us to look for them too, so staff messaging is a brilliant idea of reporting someone while you are in your game.
Thank you for reading this and taking it into consideration.
