Ok, so Splatter doesn't "Need" an update, but it should be the next minigame that gets an update. As an S+ Rank Splatoon Player (I have no idea how I got S+), I know the game really well and have a few (many) ideas on what should be added to the game.
New Weapons:
So in this minigame so far, we only have 2 weapons: The Splattershot and the Blaster. Well, maybe we could buy new weapons in the shop.
For example: The Splattershot Pro, which is a longer range and does more damage per shot but has a slower fire rate than the Splattershot.
The Splat Roller, Which is basically a paint roller where you just run across the ground and turns the ground into ink. You can also one hit kill people by running over them with the roller. In the original game, you can splash ink at a player (I don't know how to explain this), and damage or Splat the player. I don't think that that mechanic should be added because it would be too hard to work. So I probably didn't explain this weapon well because I'm horrible at explaining things xD.
The Slosher, which is a bucket filled with ink that you dump the ink out onto the ground in a straightish line.
The Splat Charger. It's basically a sniper, that's all I need to tell you.
The Rapid Blaster, which a Blaster but it has a faster firing rate but deals less damage and has less range.
The Aerospray, which has a very fast fire rate gun but has very low range
The Jet Squelcher, a very slow fire rate gun but has very long range
I might've missed a few good ideas but that's I have for now. I might think of more good choices.
New Maps:
The maps in this minigame are from the game and don't look like they take a long time to make, so why not add more maps. I won't explain these maps in detail so if you wanna know what they look like, look them up online.
-Walleye Warehouse
-Bluefin Depot
-Flounder Heights
-Mahi-Mahi Resort
A thing I want to talk about with Mahi-Mahi Resort is that in the original game, when there is 1 minute left on the clock, the water level will lower making there be more room on the map. I think that the map should be how it is when there is 1 minute left for the whole match.
Gear: Gear are clothes that you wear which give you special abilities. The problem with this being added is that you already wear armor on in the game but I have a solution to this. Tags, you can notice what team the player is on by looking at the color tag just like in other team Minigames.
Gear will be armor and will be in:
-Hat
-Shirt
-Pants (Exclusive to Splatoon 2 but should be added anyway)
-Shoes
Gear abilities will include:
-Damage Up
-Defense Up
-Ink Saver Main
-Ink Recovery Up
-Bomb Range Up (Which I will explain in a minute)
-Ink Resistancs Up
-Comeback
-Run Speed Up
-Swim Speed Up
All gear will cost the same price and it is up to the player to choose what works best for their strategy.
I don't think that sub abilities should be added though
And the last thing that should added is sub weapons.
Sub weapons are the second option you can use when you pick a main weapon to play with. So the only sub weapon that will probably only be possible to use in Minecraft would be a Burst Bomb. A Burst Bomb is a bomb in which you throw and explodes on contact and deals low damage and does splash damage.
So another thing I would like to talk about with sub weapons is that in an update for the game in 2016, the amount of ink that it takes to use a burst bomb was reduced from 4 throws per tank to 2 throws a tank. I think for Minecraft, it would be better for the amount of ink it uses to be 4 instead of 2.
The finally thing I'll be talking about is just a change to the Splattershot. It takes way too many hits to splat someone with it and in the original game, it takes 3 or 4 (I'm not sure) hits to splat an opponent.
So that's all the ideas I have. I really hope this gets noticed, because I spent a half hour writing this. I don't expect all of these features to be added but it would be cool to see them in the game. Thanks for taking time out of your day to view this thread. Have a nice day!
