So "family/friend" hackers ?-?

Theres been some appeal threads saying "oh my (some family member or friend) did blah blah blah im innocent!" but how are you really sure? They couldve hacked in another device and name just to be safe and have some back up just incase they were caught? Humans evolve and we make better lies especially behind the screen i mean we can literally create different personas of themsleves and you wouldnt even know! I get it im over thinking things ALOT but its what i do tryna think of all those other possibilties.
This was just a thought in the back of my head when i was skimming through ban appeals (dont judge me...).

Yea I've been scanning through ban appeals too bc I'm bored sometimes. I've seen a lot of ppl saying that their siblings are hacking. I'm on a 50/50 thin line of believing what they say(yeaaaa but not rlly)

As staff members, we can see if they were lying. We check their ban and we can also see who else was affected. If it turns out they're telling the truth, we unban them. But I guess you do have a point..
