Hello, the fisherman kit comes with a fishing rod and 10 pieces of cooked fish for obvious reasons, and players who have this kit use their fishing rod to pull people in and make them fall off.

I’m aware that people can get kicked by the watcher because of getting pulled by other players but I just wanted to know if you could get banned by the watcher? And if you do get banned.. The moderators, admins and helpers cannot unban bans from the watcher.

I feel as if it should get removed


So can you get banned by the watcher with the fishing rod or just kicked?

It shouldn't be removed. As a fisherman player I would be sad if this happened. Plus watcher kick is rare after being hit by rod and is only in select circumstances, involving the rod user being very high up. It's just some simple fixes to the anticheat to fix the issue. In terms of the food, it should be nerfed to 4 cod 4 salmon, or remove all cod and make the salmon 7. The food is a bit too OP. I love the rod and have never gotten a player kicked by it before, because I know what circumstances result in a kick, and so I make sure not to get anyone kicked. Plus the rod is fun so it should be kept!
Plus no one has been banned by the rod although kicks have happened. Getting kicked by the rod has only happened to me once, when the other player was skybasing and hit me with a rod.

Edit: To fix the error there could be a max vertical movement set to the rod so players don't get kicked. The only other solution is to fix the anticheat which is harder.

It has never resulted in a ban. Although kicks happen occasionally which can be fixed by setting max vertical movement to the rod or by changing anticheat. But the food should be nerfed to 4 and 4. Currently fisherman is the best kit on the server, and I would like it to become 4 and 4 so noobs don't start playing it until half of players play the kit like what happened a bit before the farmer nerf.
