Well if you don't get accepted it's alright, you can always reapply again. And a staff job aint that easy. It can take quite a lot of effort.
The only reason that a staff job aint that easy, because you have to deal with a lot of hackers, be active on the forums just incase if some people made ban appeals. you also have to help around with questions. And many more!!! Think about all the free time you would have if you didn't get accepted.
I applied to help out others with many things because I like to just be helpful to others!
