Sheriff's Gun glitch

When the sheriff died in a game off MM, I had enough gold and I tried to make the gun. However, I didn't get it, and the yellow dye remained in my hotbar. I kept trying to make the gun, and still nothing changed. In the chat, no message appeared to say a new sheriff had been chosen, but the game ended with a sheriff killing the murderer - even though, based on the chat and the dye, we had no sheriff! And, no, I didn't look at the Sheriff: dead/alive thing during the game, so I'm not sure what it said, except for the second picture which was taken after the game ended. It says the sheriff is alive in that, but I still have the dye.

Maybe, I guess. I could see how lag would cause a delay, so that it takes a bit longer to say there's a new sheriff and to take away the dye, but can lag be so bad that it never happens? Then again, this is MM we're talking about... IDK

It happen to me, but thanks for reporting the bug what limber said its lag (not trying to spam) I'm sorry if I'm spamming
