I was started to lose hope in this whole adventure thingy cause if you couldn’t tell by now, it’s Saturday and you know what happens on Saturdays… EXPLOSIONS! My heart was telling me that we had to act fast or else, we will be next on the list. Now, I knew from the fact sooner or later, I’ll be killed right of the bat and sent up to heaven but I wanted to enjoy my few days on earth before that happens.
“C’mon guys,” I said as I tried to find a way in without the ice cube blocking our way. “But how are we going to get into the second room?” Mos asked to me as if he was blind and wasn’t looking on what I was doing. “Mos, what do you think I’m doing hu?” Mos didn't say anything as he saw what I was doing.
“It’s cold!” Limber complained to us. “That’s your fault Mr.Limber. If you would’ve stopped thinking about pizza and think for yourself for a little bit then you wouldn't have this problem right now.” I was shocked when I heard Joe spit all those words at him like a rapper all at once.
“Woah Woah Woah, calm down Joe please!” I said as I patted her shoulder. But she wasn't buying it. She shoved my hands off her shoulder as she headed towards the food store to grab a piece of meat. “See this?” She said as she was holding up a piece of frozen turkey. “W-what are you doing?” I asked her.
She stared at me as she headed towards the ice cube with the frozen turkey. “Umm… I don’t think that’s a good idea, Joe!” Mos said as he fiddled his fingers. Joe didn’t say anything until she stopped towards the IceCube. “What in the world are you doing?” I said as I started to upper my voice volume.
“Stand back Y'all!” She insisted. Everyone including backed up a few yards away from Joe as our eyes wider to see what Joe was planning to do. “I know what I’m doing.” She said in a deep voice. She took a deep breath as she started to warm up the turkey like a baseball ball and was getting ready to hit the ice cube.
“Joe wait!” But I was too late. The minute I said that she slammed the ice cube in half, each pieces falling towards their side. All of us stood there and didn’t dare to say a word about it. “J-joe?” I shivered as I started to walk towards her. She started to turn around as I stopped walking to her. “JOE!” I screamed at her as my heart stopped. “You’re covered in BLOOD!” I screamed a bit louder. “I’m sorry.” She said as she looked down on us.
I turned around to see Mos and Limber covering their mouths in surprise. “Why Joe?” I asked her. “It was the only way to get the ice to get out of our way. Plus, someone had to sacrifice a little just for the rest of the team to get help.” He explained to me.
“But Joe,” I said as I looked straight at her blooming eyes. “Now we have a broken plane and you covered all in blood!” My voice was started to crack up; saying that I was in that point to die and give up. “C’mon guys!” Joe waved to the group as she covered the blood that was dripping from her cheeks. “We can get help in here.”
We opened the door to our sight; two men were sitting on the table; watching the cameras while drinking coffee and eating pizza. “Hey, guys!” Limber waved to them. “Ey Mr.Limber! Back so early? And hey, you brought us some friends over!” One of the men's said to Limber.
“Indeed I have!” Limber smiled as she turned around with his hand out. “These are my friends, Mos, Icy and Joe!”We all said hello as we waved our hands towards them. “Well hello there! Nice to meet you! Now anyway, what brings you guys here in the middle of Antarctica?” Man #2 said.
Mos gave me a little push; telling me to explain to them what happened. I stepped on his stipped shoes as hard as I could as I started to explain to them. “I hate you!” He whispered to me as I giggled. “Nice to meet you!” I shook his hand as I started to proceed on what I was going to say to him. “Our plane crashed here in Antarctica if you couldn't tell by now, we couldn't find anyone out here to help us fix our plane back.
So while we were looking somewhere that might look like there are people, we came across a tower from up ahead. Problem is, in the tower was across a frozen lack which if we were to cross my feet, we will freeze to death and die. So my friend Mos came up with a brilliant plan to build an ark to go across it.
Unfortunately for that, it crashed towards a snowy rock and we couldn’t get it unstuck. So after that, we found out that there was another way across the land without going through the lake which Limber showed us and ya. Now we are in here and asking for help.”
I explained that so fast that my mouth was dry as I tried to catch my breath while the men were thinking of what to do. “You ok Icy?” The men said to me. “Um ya, thanks.” But that voice sounds very familiar to me.
“Wait a minute.” The men turned around as I said that. “Marco?” I spoke. “That’s right!” he said as he took off his control hat. “What a plot twist, but in real life!” Joe said in surprise. “YOU BEEN WORKING HERE ALL ALONG?” I said as my voice started to get lost again.
“I think you found what you’ve been looking for.”. The men said in a mean voice as he kicked us out of the tower. Great. We were once again out in the cold. “I’ve good news!” Marco said as he jumped towards us. “I don’t want to hear it,” I said as I crossed my hands and face away from him. “I finally learned how to fix up and drive a plane!” He said.
I turned around as my anger started to disappear. “You do?” “That’s right! Now let head back towards the plane so I can get it fixed and head towards London!” Marco smiled. So that was that. We headed towards the plane with the toolbox he was holding to get the plane fixed up.
A few hours later.
“There we go, and here we go… ALL DONE!” He yelled with happiness! “I can't believe it! You actually fixed up a plane all by yourself without any professional help!” I said as I hugged him. “Ah shucks! Now let's get this baby running up and head towards London!”
As Marco started up the plane, I heard a weird sound over in the distance. I was curious about what it was so I headed towards it to find out. As I got closer, the sounded started to get closer. I spotted some snow jumping like 200 feet into the air. That’s when I knew what was going on. The PLACE WAS BLOWING UP!
I ran as fast as I could towards the plane and told Marco that we had to get this plane up in the air as fast as he could. “Why in a rush?” Marco questions me. “CAUSE THE HALLOWEEN KILLER IS BLOWING UP THIS PLACE!” Marco was shocked when he heard that. He said in the loudspeaker, “Everyone bucker up!” He said as he started to close up the doors.
“Let's GO!” I screamed at him. And just like that, the plane was up in the air as the Antarctic was blowing up. “Dang. I feel bad for that one man down there.” I said as my heart started to crack. “We could’ve saved him.” I went towards the other room to see if everyone there. “Where’s Mos?” I asked everyone. Limber and Joe didn’t know where he was.
I rushed toward the windows… Just to see Mos waving at us as the floor underneath him took him. “Oh,” I said in a squeaky.
“Mr.Mos was gone,” I said to Marco. “WHAT NO!” He said as he put the plane into auto drive. “Well, it’s 4 days before Halloween,” I said to him. “Paris is our only hope now,” I said as I started to cry on that gazing night.
