He was more frozen then my life on the bottom of the ocean that’s for sure.
Jay at this point wasn't going to unfreeze anytime soon. So what I’d to do best is to make my wishes on him and say goodbye. We walk away from the cube Jay was frozen in and started off towards the tower. Now, looking back at his situation, I would hate being him in that cube.
“Is Jay going to be ok?” I asked Mos as he kept on tripping from the snow. Mos sadly shook his head towards the sky as he said, “I don’t think so Icy. I’m sorry.” I already knew the answer was going to be no but it didn’t hurt to try. We walked for a few more minutes until the snow storm really started to pick up.
“Holy!” Mos said in a scream. As he yelled, he got snow all over his mouth so that wasn’t a good sign to start off. We spent the last 2 minutes getting the snow out of Mos’s mouth. “Anything left?” He said as he opened his mouth up. I took a closer look to see if any snow was left inside of his mouth.
Now I gotta say, his breath stinks more than a rotten fish left in the heat and bad enough, there was still snow inside his mouth. I didn’t feel the need to keep shoveling snow from his mouth due to the fact that his breath will probably kill me. “Nothing left Mos,” I said in a fake smile. Lucky, he believed me and moved on from that.
Up ahead, I spotted something blinking from up above. I was curious and told Mos that I spotted something. I took him closer to see what the blinking signal was. When I got closer, I was surprised and shocked, It was the antenna tower that we’ve been looking for all this time.
I raced towards the tower, all excited cause we will finally get help from someone to get our plane fixed. As I was running towards the tower, Mos pulled me over and stopped me. “What the- MOS? What you do that for?” I said in faerie. “Oh sorry. I just felt like since we are near the tower, I felt like the frozen lake will be somewhere.” I looked at him like this was very unnecessary. “And what does that have to do with this?” I asked him.
“I don't know. I just thought you should’ve known about it.” I rolled my eyes at him as I said, “C’mon!” In a maddish voice.
Meanwhile
“Limber, I still hate you for not telling me about this,” I said to him in the calmest voice I could have ever said while being mad at him.
I still wasn't happy by the fact that all this time, we were trying to get an ark out of a stupid rock when Limber knew all this long!
“I'm sorry Joe!” He said to be like he was about to burst in tears. I had so much anger in me that I felt like it had to come out at me and say everything mean towards him but I'll probably end up regretting it so I probably shouldn't do that.
“Listen Limber,” I said in a childish voice. Limber looked straight towards my eyes like I was becoming the next president. “I know what I did back there was wrong of me and should've never done that to you. So can we let bygones be bygones?”
Man, holy sh-... I sounded like Mos all over again. The lamest apology ever but it's all I had to say. “Umm…” He thought for a moment as I waited for his response. “I guess. Sure. We can be friends again.”
We shook hands on it but something didn't feel right about this. Even though I apologize to him, I felt like I didn't put a lot of effort into it. Well, doesn't matter anymore. We were friends once again and that's that.
“So Limber,” I asked him as I tried to start a conversation, “Do you have any plans right now?” I said in a low voice. “Umm, not that I think of, no.” Before I could've said a word, Limber comes out and says, “Oh wait for ya! Getting pizza!”
Now, I wasn't really hungry right now since I already drank some hot coffee after we recently got into a fight but just for the dubs, I went with it.
“Sure Limber! Let's get some pizza!” I said with a smile. He smiled back at me as we both headed towards the tower to see if they had any pizza left.
Meanwhile
“Is it me or is the wind picking up a little?” I looked towards Mos to see that he had the same idea going through his head. “You have a point there Mos, Icy. The wind is picking up a little bit then it was a long time ago.
“Just a little bit more Mossy! We’re almost there!” I said in shivers. “Icy, I don’t think I can make it there!” I looked behind him as I spotted him slowing down a little bit. I went back towards him to help him get up.
“Please Mos! Don’t give up! We’re almost there buddy!” I wanted to cry cause if Mos gives up now, he’ll be laying in the snow and waiting for him to freeze to death like Jay.
But with Jay situation, Jay was pushed into the freezing lake by the Halloween miller while Mos will free to death in the snow. “C’mon Mos!” I said to him as I tried to get him up from the snow. It wasn’t easy doing so since the snow was really picking up now then I said a few minutes ago.
It took a few tries to try to get Mos up from the snow but fortunately for me, I got him up and had to carry him towards the tower while the storm that was happening in the background. With the cold going through my mouth as I puffed and huffed, while I was carrying Mos, wasn’t really easy. I felt like I was going to die right there and now but I have a goal and that goal I'd to complete.
My legs were giving up on me but my brain told me that I’d to keep on going towards the tower that awaited me. “Mos, wake up please!” I said in sadness. “Woo… wait, where am I?” He said as he started to awaken. “Mos, we’re here!” I said to him. “Umm. where exactly?” He asked me.
I rolled my eyes as I told him that we were heading towards the tower to get help but as the storm started to pick up, you fell asleep on the snow and I’d to pick you up. Mos looked at me like I was telling him a straight up lie but I wasn’t. “Are you sure I wasn’t awake and just got lazy and you started to carry me?” He questioned.
I can tell that he was trying to annoy me as he knew exactly what happened at that point. “Look, Mos,” I said as I looked straight at him. “I”m not in the mood for your little games so shut up and let's head towards the tower ok?” “Oh fine, sorry. Sorry that you can’t take a joke.” I stepped my feet hard on the snow as I took a deep breath as I moved on again.
As we headed towards the tower, we spotted some shadows up ahead. “Stop Mos!” I said as I put my head on his chest. “Wait, what’s happening?” He said to me. I put on my mad faces as I got closer towards the shadows. As I got closer towards it, I spotted some people that looked exactly familiar to me. It was Icy and Joe!
“Omg hey guys!” I said to them as I jumped. “What are you guys doing out here?” Icy asked me. “Oh, Limber wanted to get me some pizza so we head towards here,” I said to them. “Well, Mos and I were heading here for help for the plane,” Icy responded back.
“Well? What are we waiting for? Let's go inside!” and so from there, we headed inside to see if anyone was inside. “There are two rooms guys. One is for the food which we are in right now and the other is where the people are or the control room.” Limber explained. “Got it.”
As we headed towards the door, I hit something very hard that it knocked me back towards the ground. “What the-” I said as I itched my head. “What the heck is this?” Mos said as he turned on the lights. We got a closer look at the thing that hit me. It was nice. Not just ice but an ice cube.
I didn’t bother on getting git by an ice cube until I saw something else inside. I gasped and stepped away as I saw who was inside there. “NEKO!” I yelled at it. “No...NO!” Mos, Limber, and Joe said.
“Why Neko? My detective friend!” I cried in tears. Joe spotted a note up on the ice cube which I’m not really surprised. Joe read, “That’s right, She predicted it from yesterday that she was going today haha. Shouldn’t have said that tsk tsk.- The Halloween killer.”
“We don’t have a lot of time.” I sang it a deep, dark voice.
