Chapter 17 - Our Last Chapter

My heart started to pump harder by the minute once I witness May sacrifice towards the Santa Claus. At first, I thought the Santa Claus wasn't going to do anything with May since it kept staring at her for a few minutes but once he pulled out a mashed from its pocket, I completely lost it.
Woop! Went her head towards the fall, filling the entire street with her blood that was coming out. I at that point threw up right in the middle of the street where everyone was watching and ya, that was basically the end of me.
Right after that, the police came rushing towards Santa Claus but it was too late sadly. The minute they got there, the Santa Claus pulled out a smoking pot and poof he went into the air. I guess I know why many young people want to be a magician when they grow up.
So they can learn all these cool tricks to play on the police when they make an actual robbery. I wonder how society is going to turn out in the feature but as I said, that's not on me but on the people that make the world, well earth!
I was started to think that throwing up in the middle of the street won't solve my case exactly. So I had no other choice but to head for the obvious and that was going alone into this until it hits Saturday. Cause when it hits that time, I would rush with all I got on top of the hill and wait until the portal opens up so I can get out of this random world I am.
Which also reminds me, May never told me where in heavens I was so that was a sad thing I had in mind. I saw a hill covering the sun sunshine that was hitting the village. So, this somehow giving me a vibe that I should head up there and move along with what just happen.
I started to make my way towards the tall hill when I heard a soft voice coming from behind me! "Wait!" Was all I could hear from the person. I stopped where I was and looked behind to see who was calling me. It was a girl in farmers dress, short black hill but a beautiful face on her.
"Yes," I questioned her. It took her a few minutes to catch her breath but once she did, she started to talk to me while the smell of her dirty clothes went into me. "You don't look like you're from around here." I could already tell that this person stalks like the whole village.
"Um, no I'm not." "Well, in that case, can I come with you?" I stopped right there. Go where I asked myself. I also didn't know where I was going in life so that also gave me a problem to solve. "Go where exactly?" She shook her head like I didn't know this place more than I should've already. "Aloud me to introduce myself.
Hello! I'm Megan and ya, that's pretty much it." Now, I could see why she was saying this since I think kids that were at farms only go up to elementary school until they're sent back to their homelands to work for their entire lives. So this tells me that she isn't used to speaking in a normal voice than most people would.
"Hello," I said back in a soft voice. "My name is Kiwi and yes, I'm not from around here if you couldn't tell already." We both shook hands as we sat down on the hill we were sitting on to watch the sunset down for the day.
"So," she started to ask me once the moon completely showed up. "Where do you want to go?" I didn't have a response to respond to her back since I was still getting used to this town. "I don't really know. Where do you go for fun?" She got up from the grassy hill we were sitting on, leaving her butt mark on the grass hill.
"Come with me! I'll show you where I like to hang out when my parents tell me to wait for dinner for a few seconds." She started to get pushy, making me get up from the spot I was sitting on. "But I don't want to get up!" I cried like a little baby.
"Aw, c'mon Kiwi! It's not that far from where we are. Besides, after we're done going towards my fun place, we can head towards your home and see if you bother is up to something." She winked at me like I was her Bff.
"Woah! How do you know I have a brother?" She winked at me once more. "My friend, you have a lot to learn in this town you now live in for a couple of days and that's exactly where I'm taking you. Now, if you stop stalling for a second and start walking towards the place, then I'll tell you how I know about your brother." Now this made me curious to find out more about.
We started to walk for a few minutes until a gust of wind started to blow strong beyond our bodies. "Burr, it's freezing here!" "What did you expect? It's December after all!" She had a point right there that I couldn't argue.
I guess this was my fault also that I didn't bring a better jacket with me on this trip but then again, how I was supposed to know that this place was going to be colder than the town I lived in?

"We're here!" She opened the glass door into what looked like a space exhibit. "What is this place?" My eyes dazzled among the things that were in front of me.
"Oh, that? Pff, that's nothing! That's just the coding things into the programmes our greatest invention yet created by us people!" If this wasn't anything then I can't wait to see the actual real thing that Magan had to show me. We entered another hallway which leads us into the real thing.
"This my friend is the mind reader 3000!" The machine that was in front of me was so giant, it was probably bigger than the computer they have at NASA. "THis. Is. INCREDIBLE! How did you guys even build this?"
"Oh, only by the smartest people we have in town." She smirked. "Well, the people you have here are like 10 times better then what we have back at my land." She laughed a little bit along with me. "So, what does it do?" "Ah, that's why I brought you here." She headed for the machine and pushed the button that marked start with a shiny green color on it. "Stand back!"
The machine started to make some weird notice but after a few minutes of it, it stopped. "Woah!" I said as steam came out at the same time. "Now," Her voice sounded like a young teacher. "This machine is no ordinary machine.
This machine cause sees other different worlds in the galaxy. including yours. which is how I knew you had a brother." I gave her the cold stared while she started to crack up on her own spying trip. "Haha, really funny." Saying in a sarcastic voice. "Okay okay fine. Plus, I'm not allowed to be here so we should go."
I agreed with her. I headed out the back door while she turned the machine off.
Once I left the "stalking machine," which is what I call it in my opinion, I felt a cold feeling going through my heart, telling me that something is going to happen at any minute. The only thing is, I didn't know what was going to go down do that was a thing to worry about. "Hey, Kiww! Let's go to your place and see if your brother is there!"
I didn't feel like going to my house for some odd reason but nevertheless, I went for it. "Sure, why not." Saying it in a dull voice. She started to run towards my house when she noticed that I wasn't running with her. "What's the matter Kiwi?" "I just, don't feel like going to my house right now." She started to walk towards me with a different face on her that I never have seen before.
"Kiwi! I think it's better for you to go to your house and find out what has been going on in your other world." I looked at her straight in the eye to see if she wasn't playing around with me. Just as I expected, she hasn't. "Now, if you stop overthinking this, we can go." Well, I had no other choice but to do so. "Okay fine." "Okay, let's go."
Since this was a ghost town I was in, I had the power to fly around the village unlike what I can't do pack at my normal village. "Woah, this is actually pretty neat." I felt like I was actually flying like Harry Potter, around the village. "This is fun!" I started to laugh while screaming at the same time.
"I told you so!" Forget having fun at Disney World and all that stuff. This was way better than anything I could imagine. "There's your house!" Megan pointed towards the house that had a blue roof. Suddenly, I lost the happiness inside of me.
"Hm, okay." We flew down there and checked if everything was going okay...without me. We speculated around the rooms when we stopped into a room filled with blood. "Woah, I don't remember having this room before."
"That because it wasn't." She headed for the kitchen closet, opening it with my brother's body coming out. She looked down at the floor as she said, "Your parents died from depression. I'm sorry." Was I hearing this correctly? "No, that can't be!" I started to upper my voice.
"Also, the Santa Claus left this note for you." Woah, I guess she even knows about the whole Santa Claus killer.
