My eyes felt worse as everyone kept walking in the middle of nowhere and in a search for a new village. My legs never felt so tired in my life until now. I guess that was my problem for not going outside more often but eh. I heard little kids crying while they kept walking to wherever we were going.
My heart was shattered from pieces to pieces as I couldn’t get the Incident that just happened. But my question is, How powerful is this Halloween killer? If she or he has the power to take down a FULL Town, then to be fair here, This Halloween killer can probably take down a whole Kingdom.
I looked around my area, I looked above me as the stars shined from side to side like they were talking to each other. On my left, I saw bunnies hopping with their family. On my right, I saw a pack of deer hunting for food.
30 minutes later and still no sign of a new home. I was beginning to think that at this rate, we were never going to find a village like this. I looked ahead to see who was leading the pack. I wasn’t surprised to see FireFox leading the pack. Besides, she was the one that said: “We have to move on.” Meaning that she was taking this very seriously.
I looked down at my used to be shiny shoes. Now they were all covered in mud from side to side. I was already tired enough that I wasn’t getting my sleep and now I’ve to clean my shoes when we get somewhere that is if we do get somewhere.
I felt like I was walking for hours until the pack stopped moving. I bumped into someone without realizing. I apologized to him as I headed towards FireFox to see what was up. “Why we stopped?” I said to FireFox as I saw what she was looking at. I couldn't believe my eyes. "I think the answer is right in front of me, Icy.” She repeated to me.
What I saw wasn’t a village nor a Town, but a WHOLE Kingdom! It was like ten time bigger than the one back home. It even has a fountain in the middle of the kingdom and the best part is, there was no one living in the Kingdom. So the Kingdom was abandoned or should I say, was abandoned. “Boy and girls!” FireFox yelled towards the crowd.
“I think we found our new home!” She said. Everyone celebrated as they hugged each other with joy. FireFox and I started to go downhill as we headed towards the gates that guarded the Kingdom. FireFox spotted a key next to the gate. It was the Golden Key to the Kingdom.
Everyone gathered around her as she was about to announce something huge. “Guys,” She said with excitement. “I’m proud to say,” She said while holding the Key to the Kingdom. “I’m proud to say, from today, this Kingdom will be our new home and we will take care of it like our old home!”
She holds the Key towards the gate as she puts the key in. She turns the key to the left and wala! The door opened. “Welcome!” She said. Everyone celebrated even tho it was like 2 in the morning but nobody cared at the moment. All they cared is that they found a Kingdom they could live in.
But I was still concerned that the Halloween killer will blow this one up as well but we can’t be too sure. Before anyone could take a look around the Kingdom, Mos came up to the crowd. “This is Awesome and all but which house does everyone get?” Mos asked FireFox.
FireFox stood there with the question on her. It wasn’t until she snapped her fingers together that she had an idea. “Everyone! Get in a line!” Everyone rushed from every corner since they were looking around the Kingdom and rushed towards FireFox in a line. “Okie everyone!” She said it like my gym teacher back in my senior years of High School.
“This is how everyone is going to get a nice home to live in.” She explained to us. I looked towards my watch. It was currently 3 in the morning so I guess I will be sleeping late… again. Ugh.
“Everyone is going towards a random house except the Castle cause that will be our new Town Hall and whatever house you pick, will be yours. So everyone will choose their house and whatever house you like will be yours.” She explained to us. Everyone stood there like they don’t know what she said.
“You guys are more useless as a naked sheep. GO!” She yelled. Everyone snapped out of daydream land as everyone rushed to get the fanciest house in their sight. I didn’t worry about picking out a house since I’m friends with FireFox and we both will live in the castle even tho she told nobody to pick that.
“I think we should get some sleep FireFox” I whispered to her as I leaned in towards her. “You’re right Icy. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow and we’re probably going to sleep overnight but we deserve it.” She said to me. I guess she wasn’t mad at me anymore for doing my job wrong but I did still feel bad inside of myself.
1 AM
2 hours past by but I still couldn’t get some sleep. The beds were not the problem but the place. I didn’t feel safe being inside a giant castle that had 5 floors inside. FireFox and I picked the second floor to sleep on. Her room was straight across from mines so that made me a little safer.
I got up from the bed as my feet touched the cold, wooden floor that spared me. I grabbed my slippers as I went towards the window. The windows looked like one of those Disney romance windows when her “Prince” comes towards her and something-something. You know. But in this case, this window had… well, windows around it.
I looked outside from my view of the window. Some people houses lights were still on. Some were off and others were still completely off. I just wonder who will abandon this nicely Kingdom out in the middle of nowhere? I’d so many questions inside my head but I was way too tired to think and my mind took over at that point and I felt towards the ground as I slept like a log.
7 AM
I looked around. I saw nothing but insects everywhere. I didn’t blame them since god knows how much this Kingdom has been abandoned. I went next door to Dog to see if she had Insect repellent. I knocked on her door as I took a step back.
She opened up as I looked towards her face. She looked like she had just woke up so I was guessing it was a bad idea waking her up so early but I needed something that she had. “What are you doing up at 7 AM Mos?” She told me as she rubbed the dust off her eyes.
“I'm so sorry,” I said as I played with my fingers. “Sorry for waking you up so early Dog but I need some insects repellent. Please?” She didn't say anything.
She went inside and a few minutes later, she came with rat repellent. I looked at her with one of those “This is not what I asked for” faces but I already knew if I asked another thing, she’ll get more mad at me so I took it and left her to sleep again. I spread the rat repellent everywhere as I saw the rats getting killed in front of me.
I did feel bad at the moment but I knew it was for my own good. Once I was done, I stored the rat repellent somewhere, dressed up and went outside to greet the morning. As I was walking towards town, I saw Richelle heading out of town. I wanted to warn her not to go but I remembered the time that she almost tried to kill me so I didn’t bother to.
I walked down the street as I saw Elk stopping be with a wave. “Hey, Mos!” She yelled at me. “Come here!” She said. I looked both ways to see if any cars were passing. Nothing so I made a quick move and headed across the street.
“Hey Elk! What’s up?” I asked her as we walked toward a poster. “Hey, Mos. Are you coming to the brand new Party tonight? It’s going to be at the Castle and it will be much better!” She said with excitement. I was concerned that a killer was out there but didn’t hurt to say no. “Ya Elk! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!” I told her.
“Great!” She jumped. “I’ll meet you there!” She ran away from me as I went towards the poster. “It read: Tonight Party! 9:00 PM! Bring your friends!” I shook my head towards it as I walked away from it.
Rycelle:
I headed out of town until I saw a shadow near the distance. I was curious to see what it was. Maybe it was gold! Maybe even diamonds! My head was spinning with ideas that I had to see what it was.
I rode my bike uphill as I followed the shadow. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t see where I was going and fell in a hole. I called help, hopefully, someone will hear me but the unexpected happened. I saw a glowing sword with the shadow I was following. Next thing you know, lights were out for me…
9:40 PM
I was already spilled out from the beer I had at tonight's party. Just then, The castle doorbell rang. The DJ stopped the music as Dog went towards the door to see who it was. The minute Dog opened the door, she threw up instantly as she ran away from it. Everyone in the room looked at each other and knew this wasn’t good.
I went towards the door to see what it was. My eyes stared at the horrendous thing was in my sight. It was Rycelle head right in front of the door with a bloody note stuck to her head. I came inside as I closed the door from behind and read it out loud.
“By running away hu? Don’t think I know where you little people live now. Now, be aware of the horrible things that will happen next. - The Halloween Killer.” I stopped and paused. Jay was crying so much that he had to leave the room. The nights weren’t getting any better so far.
