Chapter 13 - Losing It

December 13, 2018

"Well, that's that." We couldn't do anything at that point since the police came straight after the Santa Claus murdered Jely. It wasn't a cute scene at all if you told me about it. "Everyone, I would need you to go home expect you, Wolfy.

You young Mr. are staying here and is going to explain what you have done to Jely! You hear me?" "Yes, sir." Now, I could see why the police were asking him to stay since he was the main reason why Jely was in the fight but I gotta say, not everything in the fight was entirely his fault.

"But Mr. police-" "Silence!" I guess we could say that the police didn't want to hear Wolfy dumb reason into why he got Jely to fight him but the intents this was making me went so high inside of me that I decided to hind near a bush and listen to what the police and Wolfy have to say about this.

A few minutes have passed while the rest of the people were transpiring away and went along with their days. "So." The police started to speak to Wolfy. "Let me ask you one question and I want you to tell me the trust."

Wolfy's eyes looked like he was going to cry which by the way, I have never seen him cry since he's not used to this kind of stuff...Well, kinda is. He was always getting in fights during 5 period in school which is lunch.

But like always, he always got caught no matter what and got written up for it. I'm shocked and surprised that he isn't kicked out of school yet at this point. Cause if one day, they decided to kick him out for good, I will exactly know where I would be seeing him next in the feature. Jail. But I felt like I was being extremely rude to Wolfy right now even though he deserves it so in this case, I should shut up and listen to what they have to say.

"Do you have any idea on how much trouble you caused today?" Wolf said nothing to him. "Hmm? No clue hu?" I could see that the police was trying his best to get something out of Wolfy situation. "Hmm, maybe this would make you speak."

He pulled out what looked like to be an ID with all his private information on it. "Hey! Where did you get that!" He started to shout at the police. "The files we were given, and I thought it would nice of you to see what we have in hands.

"Woah. but that right there is crossing the line! Now, I would like my passport that you're holding on right there on your left hand, please." But as the police facial expression, he wasn't buying it at all. "No Mr. In fact, I would be keeping this little friend with me along with your driver license." "Drivers licenses? But I didn't even USE a car!"

"doesn't matter. It' agents the law for us to take everything that you currently own, including your house." Wolfy paused for a long time; me being worried if something actually happened to him and I wasn't nor the police weren't doing anything about it.

"So" He finally started to talk again. "If the law states that you own everything of mine, does that mean, you own...my life?" The police stared at him for a short time, knowing that he has never been asked this question ever.

"Well, if the law states that you as the person that committed the crime can be taken everything away, then yes, I guess we do own your life now." I could see where this was going at this point. Was the Police going to kill Wolfy at the very point right now?

Cause from the acts he just spat out, it does seem like he was going to shoot him right now. Just when I was about to jump out of the bush to defend Wolfy, Cap sneaked up to me like we were playing a game of hide and seek and almost scared the living daylights out of me. "DUDE!" I tried to shout at him in the quietest voice.

"What are you doing?" I tried to make my voice sound as angry as I possibly could but it wasn't working with Cap. "Well, sorry sister but your friend Gracie wants to speak with you."

I was about to say that I was in an important mission into whether or not the cops shoot Wolfy right now but she showed up even before Cap was done talking. "Kiwi! I need you right now to see this!" I was legit forced to come since they started to pull on my skirt that cost around 200 dollars.

They led me to a nice empty space in the middle of the woods and started to talk to me. "What do you guys want? Can't you see I'm trying to do something important?" I spoke in my normal voice but only a bit more anger into it.

"Well, the real reason why we invited you here is so you can meet our new friend, Iuc!" I stared at them as they brought me to see a pile of mud pie. "So, you guys piled over from a bush just to meet a new friend? I mean, I'm not trying to be mean right now but couldn't you guys do this another time?"

But their faces didn't seem too happy to hear my response. "So, you rather care much more into your stupid spying trip instead of meeting a good friend that comes from the UK; also bring her stuff from there to shows us how the UK is and you're pushing her away? I see how it is Kiwi." I gasped at their responses to mine.

"Guy no! That's what I men-" But it was too late. They've all turned their backs from me, including the new girl and started to walk away from me. "Gracie?" I told her in a broken voice. She looked down at the ground before she spoke. "It's over Kiwi." And from there, she left me.

I couldn't honestly believe it. I lost 2 best friends including an opportunity to have a new friend right now. I knew, I have made a terrible choice right now and it was all my brains' fault.

More importantly, my fault. Just when I started to think that it could've gotten worse, well, that's where I was wrong. I minute I turned around from the woods, I heard a gunshot shoot towards the direction I was all along.

I knew by heart where the bullet came from. I immediately rushed back towards the camp to see Wolfy laying on the ground while his blood dripped from his left eye to his right. I got closer towards him and noticed something that got my eye.

It was stuck on top of Wolfy. I pulled the white thing gently in case if it was something important I would be needed. But the thing I pulled out wasn't something I wanted to know, it was something I already knew.

The mysterious thing that was under Wolfy was a Santa mask. I knew for a fact, we didn't have much time left.
